Director of Sales
Halifax, Nova Scotia
On behalf of our client we are recruiting for a Director, Sales to join their team of dedicated professionals in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Reporting directly to the CEO the Director, Sales will motivate and mentor a skilled team of sales professionals, ensuring achievement of sales targets, budget objectives and overall team development. Drawing from strong sales and leadership experience, the Director, Sales will utilize their vision and proven business acumen to develop and execute a business development strategy that aligns with overall business objectives. Motivated by the ability to achieve results, drive business growth through an analytical mind set, the Director, Sales will oversee the delivery and implementation of a portfolio of projects and build relationships with external partners.
As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field plus 5-10 years experience in a sales leadership position. Demonstrated experience in owning and managing a complete profit and loss statement with proven experience leading through change is required. With a track record of success, business acumen and an unwavering commitment to excellence, you will possess the ability to inspire and motivate a team of professionals to work toward a common goal. Having a strong understanding and experience with using data to drive strategy, competitive insights, and business, you will be keenly focusing your team on new business and program development.
